The farmers of the Mingo Creek Settlement in Southwestern Pennsylvania placed Liberty Poles along roads and in town centers to protest the 1791 Federal Excise Tax on whiskey manufacturing. They called themselves the Mingo Creek Society and met to discuss their fate at the Mingo Creek Meetinghouse, just outside of Monongahela. Today, a new Meetinghouse has returned to Washington and a revitalized Mingo Creek Society is distilling hand-crafted whiskeys and bourbons from locally sourced grains. View the production in a warmly restored, turn-of-the-century monument factory called Liberty Pole Spirits Distillery at 68 W. Maiden Street, in Washington. We look forward to seeing you during the festival.

Red Pump Spirits is a family owned small batch craft distillery located in Washington, Pennsylvania - the Home of the Whiskey Rebellion. At our distillery located at 32 N. Main Street we produce for the local communities unique whiskeys and liqueurs of exceptional quality. While we respect the traditions of whiskey making, we also innovate with grains and processing techniques to bring to our customers products for today's tastes. We have a Tasting Room where you can sample our products as well as purchase spirits by the bottle. We source locally as much as possible. And every Saturday at the distillery are tasting and tour events where you can sample our spirits and get a lesson in how spirits are produced. There is a fee for these events, but the fees are donated to local charities. Thank you for taking the time to learn of our company. We hope to see you at the festival.

Disobedient Spirits is an artisan distillery in Homer City, Pennsylvania. Opened in December of 2014 by two college professors, its name is meant to reflect the revolutionary spirit of Western PA. From the Whiskey Rebellion to the Homewood strike, it reflects the rugged individualism of our region. Dedicated to making quality products with local ingredients, Disobedient has won seven medals in national competitions in its first two years, including a gold for its Premium Blue Corn vodka. Find out more at www.disobedientspirits.com, come down to Homer City for a taste or tour, or call us at 724-915-8124 for information about our event space. Disobey responsibly.
