Blues, Brews, and BBQ

Great Blues Music, Festival Food, Blue Eagle Tavern and Craft Vendors - Open
Food and Fun begins at 4pm on Main Street at the Community Pavilion

The Whiskey Rebellion Festival takes the party to the streets Friday evening for the popular “Blues, Brews and BBQ” Night. The Festival Main Stage stirs up a mean mix of R&B, funk and blues from some of the blues hottest performers.

On Friday from 4 p.m. till dark festival attendees will be able to meander through and shop the Festival Heritage Crafts Vendors located along Strawberry Way.

Enjoy some cool drinks from the Blue Eagle Tavern while you listen to the night’s performances. This year’s tavern sponsor Miller Beer will be featuring Ice Cold Miller Beer Products. Joining us this year in the tavern are the good folks from The Washington Winery, our only downtown winery, where you’ll be able to purchase wine by the glass.

Of course Washington wouldn’t be “The home of the Whiskey Rebellion” without…. You guessed it whiskey. The festival will have both of Washington’s own Liberty Pole Spirits and Red Pump Spirits distilleries, both of which are located in downtown Washington. So make sure you stop in and meet our distillers and wine makers.

So have fun and raise a glass in the
"Spirit of Rebellion"

Free tours of the David Bradford House Museum, a National Historic Landmark and home of the leader of the Whiskey Rebellion, will be offered from 3 – 6 p.m.
The National Historic Landmark LeMoyne House will also be open 11 a.m – 4 p.m.

Living Blues magazine observes, “The vivacity and sheer joy with which Cru plays is intoxicating!”
