Whiskey Rebellion Festival

Festival is held the second weekend of July

Whiskey Rebellion Festival

The Whiskey Rebellion Festival celebrates the heritage and unique character of the region by focusing on the historical significance of the Whiskey Rebellion, a history that is exclusive to western Pennsylvania and primarily Washington County. The festival honors the significant period of America’s early days through historic reenactments, period exhibitions and demonstrations, family fun, frontier art, heritage music and food, all the while shining a national spotlight on the city, county and region. Community focused entertainment combines with nationally renowned artists to create a festival that acknowledges the past, celebrates the present and looks toward the future.

We are thrilled to be bringing the Whiskey Rebellion Festival back to Washington, PA! Stop by the Blue Eagle Tavern and have a cocktail!

B&B Distillery, Red Pump Spirits and Wigle Whiskey will be there to serve up your favorite local spirits!
If you’d like to see how whiskey was made in the 18th century head down to the Whiskey Rebellion Education and Visitor Center where they will have special festival hours from noon – 5.
